It can be booked for any event, sport day or a fair... face painting is a great way to make it more exciting and fun. It is very popular at kids parties especially when it fits right into the theme you chose for your little one – for example when you decided to do curious George – you can paint their faces likes monkeys, or when your doing a carnival party paint them like clown and some animals, butterfly faces for a butterfly themed party.

You don’t have to be an artist to do face painting – it is a very easy hobby to learn – all you need is a good guide to teach you the basics and make sure to use proper paint – rather buy more expensive paint that will last longer as well than struggling to get those little faces clean. It is just like purchasing cheap make up – you face gets spots and the make up sits on your face like you glued it their.

When doing your first face painting – just relax and imagine how you want it to look and start painting – I will come out just fine – you’ll see – but like they say practice makes perfect – I a couple of weeks you will be painting tigers and lions to impress.

Always test the paint on a small area of skin before painting to see if the child is having an allergic reaction to the paint – and make sure you wipe their faces first – just to clean off the excess oils and that the face is nice and dry.

Start with the broader brusher for the base cover the whole face when doing the base of the design and then you can use the thinner brusher for the actual design.

Start with easy designs first and then work your way up – always remember to give at least 15-20 min per child at a birthday party – so practice quit a lot before attempting to book your first party

Good luck and have fun painting!!
